These Terms govern your use of the Fairdeal International website and your purchase of any product from us — whether in person at one of our showrooms, by phone, or via WhatsApp. By placing an enquiry or order with us, you agree to these Terms.
You are dealing with Fairdeal International, a family-run consumer-electronics retailer registered in Kolkata, West Bengal. Our six showrooms across South Kolkata — Behala, Tollygunge, Santoshpur, Garia, Sonarpur and Baruipur — operate under this single trade name.
We describe every product on this website and on WhatsApp to the best of our knowledge using information supplied by the manufacturer. Specifications, prices and offers are subject to change without notice. The final, binding specification of any product is the one stated on the manufacturer's official website and on the invoice we issue you.
Photographs are representative. Colour, finish and accessories may vary slightly from images shown.
All prices are inclusive of GST unless explicitly stated otherwise. Prices quoted on WhatsApp or by phone are valid for 48 hours unless we tell you otherwise in writing. Bank-cashback, exchange-bonus and EMI offers are governed by the participating bank or financier and may carry additional terms.
If a price is displayed in error — for example, due to a clear typing mistake — we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund any amount paid.
An enquiry or quote does not constitute a contract of sale. A binding contract is created only when we issue you a tax invoice and you make the agreed payment. We may decline any order at our discretion (for example, where stock is unexpectedly unavailable or where we suspect fraud).
We accept cash, UPI, debit and credit cards, NEFT/RTGS, and approved EMI partners at our showrooms. We do not currently process payments through this website — any payment is taken in person or via a banking channel agreed with you at the time of order.
We offer 24-hour express delivery within Kolkata for in-stock products on most categories. Same-day delivery is available for orders confirmed before noon, subject to product availability and your address being within our service area.
Delivery dates we share are good-faith estimates. We are not liable for delays caused by reasons outside our control (e.g. transport strikes, weather, manufacturer dispatch delays). On delivery, please inspect the carton in the presence of our delivery team — any visible transit damage must be reported before the delivery person leaves your premises.
Installation of major appliances (AC, TV, washing machine, water purifier, kitchen chimney) is carried out by the brand's own authorised service team in nearly all cases. Installation timelines are governed by the brand and may differ from delivery. Any incremental material (extra copper piping, stabiliser, accessories) is chargeable as per the brand's standard rate-card.
All products carry the manufacturer's standard warranty as printed on the product. Fairdeal is not the warrantor — the brand is. We will, however, act as your point of contact and help you raise, escalate and follow up service requests for as long as you own the product.
Extended-warranty and AMC plans, where available, are governed by the separate terms of the issuing brand or service provider.
Consumer electronics are generally not returnable once delivered and installed, in line with industry practice. A return or replacement is offered only where:
An order may be cancelled before it has been dispatched, subject to a fair handling charge if the product has already been customised, billed or scheduled for installation.
Exchange values for your old appliance are quoted only after physical inspection at the time of delivery. Quotes shared earlier are indicative and depend on the actual age, model and working condition of the old appliance.
Bulk and institutional orders (hotels, builders, hostels, offices, hospitals) are governed by a separate written quotation that overrides any conflicting terms here.
This website is provided for your information. You may not scrape, mirror, or republish its content for commercial use without our written consent. We make no warranty that the website will be uninterrupted or free of errors.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising out of any product sale is limited to the invoice value of that product. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (such as loss of use, loss of data, or loss of profit). Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law — including liability under the Consumer Protection Act 2019.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with a Fairdeal purchase will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Kolkata, West Bengal.
